Building a PromSTAP Network

On Thursday 23 February 2006, 10 Gelderland partners in PromSTAP gathered in Wageningen. After short introductions to the PromSTAP programme, to the subprojects and to PromSTAP knowledge exchange and dissemination, a lively information exchange arose about the subprojects, about the project- preparation experiences and about future plans and expectations.

The sharing of experiences delivered a large number of useful tips for tackling problems. All recognised the coherence on a regional level that can be found regarding the topics of the projects, the stakeholders and way to approach them and the type of knowledge dissemination activities (meetings, publications). The process of mapping this coherence for Gelderland was started and will be continued through the Gelderland Teamroom in the PromSTAP Forum on the internet.

All emphasized the value of this first meeting and agreed to meet again shortly after the summer break.
